Defense and National Security

The Committee is competent to:

1- Study all the repercussions and effects of the coup regime and its criminal practices at home and abroad that threaten Egyptian, regional and international national security, and to prepare detailed reports to the parliament.

2- Study the legislations adopted by the coup regime to favour the armed forces, the judiciary and the police at the expense of the people and to expose the effect of this on the Egyptian national security with detailed reports to the parliament.

3- Study of international treaties by which the coup regime has ceded parts of the territory of the State or the historical rights of Egypt to the Nile waters or to its wealth in the exclusive economic zones of Red and Mediterranean seas and its impact on national security, and the preparation of detailed reports to the parliament.
