Foreign Affairs

The Committee is competent to:

1- Study the international situation towards the coup regime-and its criminal practices and to follow up on the foreign policy developments of the different countries of the world towards the current situation, and reporting them to the parliament.

2- Hold international conferences, liaising with international parliaments and holding meetings with parliamentary delegations to expose the practices of the coup regime.

3- Contact the international governmental and non-governmental entities in the context of the presentation of facts on illegal coup practices.

4- Prepare written, audio-visual reports documenting the crimes of the coup regime in coordination with the other committees and presenting them to all international forums.

5- Examine the means available in various countries of the world whose domestic laws allow for the prosecution of crimes against humanity that involve the crimes of the coup generals. Initiation of criminal proceedings against them before its judiciary in coordination with the legislative and Legal Affairs Committee of those states. The possibility of resorting to the International Criminal Court for such crimes with the help of these countries.

6- Coordinate with the Legislative and Legal Affairs Committee to take the necessary steps to prosecute the perpetrators of the crimes committed by the coup regime against the Egyptian people.
